As a toddler, I used to construct worlds for my Barbies. I’d spend limitless hours with my sister, Religion, crafting intricate realms, stitching tiny clothes from vibrant materials, and fashioning furnishings from corks, toothpicks, and bottle caps! Early experiences like these launched me to the magic of design and impressed me to turn into a designer and artist. We had our first name with the Mattel group (the kindest, most artistic bunch!) on a Friday and the next Monday we had been at their places of work perusing their classic Barbie furnishings archives, looking for our dreamhouse! I even obtained to convey Ida! It was unbelievable. The artistry and a focus to element that goes into constructing (or in some instances sourcing) all issues Barbie is admittedly inspiring.
